Job for a School librarian

We’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools.

Working hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday

About the role:

• Relabelling current stock

• Rearranging current stock to a new layout (some light cleaning/dusting of shelves)

• Identifying and boxing stock for disposal

• Repairing stock when salvageable

• Preparing new stock for cataloguing (covering and labelling)

• Cataloguing and shelving new stock.

The ideal School Librarian/ Reading Support will have:

• Experience of working in a school or public library as a librarian or similar..

• A real passion for working within an education environment.

• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

• Process oriented methodical worker with a keen eye for detail.
