Full-time gardeners

The Role:

•Maintaining formal lawns, flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and borders

•Carrying out landscaping duties including drainage clearance, pathways, and steps

•Clearing leaves around the site, both by machine and manually

•Carrying out minor repairs around the estate

•Weeding and pruning of the flower and shrub borders

•Hedge pruning – formal yew and box hedging as well as native hedgerows

•Wildflower meadow maintenance – weed control and yearly cutting

•Carrying out general woodland path and tree maintenance

•Assisting residents with any gardening or horticulturally based queries.

Key Requirements:

•A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Gardener or within grounds maintenance

•Strong general plant knowledge

•Competent working to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations

•Experience using a wide variety of garden maintenance petrol equipment

•Any qualifications within the horticultural
